Will they be able to silence these red-hot lineups, or will the offensive fireworks begin much like the first two games of the series?

Zac Gallen pitched great coming off the IL in his first start back, but that was against the Athletics. Tonight, he will have his hands full against one of the most potent lineups in baseball. Will Gallen be able to shut down the Dodgers much like he did against Oakland when he allowed one hit in six innings of work? I’m willing to bet his start goes a little bit differently on Thursday night…
The Dodgers bats cooled off a little yesterday, but this offense has been putting up runs with ease, especially at home. Games at Dodger Stadium are 23-18-1 to the over this season, a trend that hasn’t slowed down at all of late. The public isn’t going to want to fade Gallen or back runs in this contest, and that’s exactly the bet we want to be on…
Luckily for the Diamondbacks, their starting pitcher won’t be the only one getting roughed up on Thursday’s late night game. Landon Knack has pitched incredibly for the Dodgers this season, including a five inning one run gem against Arizona earlier this year. If both of these starting pitchers have been great and are going to throw masterclasses tonight, then why is the total in this game sitting at 8.5? The total would be lower if either pitcher was going to pitch like they have been recently.
Let’s fade both of these pitchers and back the offenses to continue doing damage in this series. I don’t see any signs of the Dodgers elite lineup slowing down, and the Diamondbacks are starting to finally heat up at the plate. Let’s back them to put up runs much like they both did in the first two games of this series.
