The Arizona Diamondbacks will send out Ryne Nelson for another turn in the rotation. Nelson has only struck out 19.8% of batters this season. Yet, over the last 30 days, he's accumulated 31.7% of strikeouts.
Nelson has also walked just 5% of batters and has held his last 120 to a .150 ISO and wOBA of .252.
Nelson is randomly putting up All-Star level numbers over the last month.
Meanwhile, he'll pitch against a Mets projected lineup that has struck out 29.5% of the time against righties over the last month. New York has six batters with a high strikeout rate over the last 30 days against righties.

Bowden Francis is finally becoming the pitcher Toronto hoped he would be. Francis has struck out 35.4% of batters over the last month and has limited his last 96 hitters to a .122 ISO and wOBA of .165 with just 4.2% of walks.
Francis looks elite.
He'll battle against a Red Sox lineup filled with heavy strikeout hitters. The projected lineup has struck out 28.4% of the time and has six batters who have struck out at least 25% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.
The lineup even includes multiple hitters, including Tyler O'Neill and Mickey Gasper, who have struck out 40% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.

Brady Singer has struck out 23.6% of batters over the last month. That's currently above his season's average of 22.6%.
However, he's still struggled to add a high rate of strikeouts against righties recently. Instead, he's earned only 16.4% of strikeouts against righties and has allowed more than 30% of fly balls with almost 24% of line drives.
Unfortunately for Singer, he'll face an Astros lineup that should have six righties in it. Those six righties have only struck out 18.3% of the time against righties. That doesn't give Singer much room to work with when it comes to earning a high rate of strikeouts.
