The Kings starting point guard De'Aaron Fox is dealing with an injury and I don't anticipate him to play tonight, which means the Kings will need someone to play through. The person they will be counting on is Domantas Sabonis, their swiss army knife who does a little bit of everything. I believe Sabonis will soar over his points + rebounds line and cash this prop for us against the Cavs.

This pick is taken expecting I don't think that De'Aaron Fox will be playing tonight. And honestly, even if he does, I still love this line for Sabonis. Assuming that this remains the case though and Fox isn't playing, I expect that the Kings will use Sabonis as the focal point of the offense against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he was against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Portland Trail Blazers.
Sabonis has cleared this line in four out of the last eight games, and he missed one on a hook ending with 31 and another in a blowout loss so he didn't get his full minutes. Sabonis also has cleared this line against the Cavaliers four out of six times going all the way back to his Indiana Pacers days in the 2020 season.
In the 15 games without De'Aaron Fox, Sabonis has had the following points + rebounds: 50, 30, 34, 36, 32, 31, 23, 35, 30, 31, 34, 26, 16, 38, and 30. His four worst performances were all in games where he played under 31 minutes, which I don't expect to happen in this game unless it's a blowout or he has foul troubles.
And with the spread only being three points, I am anticipating that this will be a close game and not a blowout, especially since they have home court advantage in Sacramento. The need to score and generate without Fox, plus his usual aggressiveness attacking the boards, should help him clear this line for us and make us some money.
