I believe this game will be super fast paced considering the Pacers are the fastest playing team in the NBA. I believe Jayson Tatum will crush his PRA line tonight considering he has historically dominated versus the Pacers, especially since they are missing Kristaps Porzingis.

Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction

In games where Tatum has played 38+ minutes, he has gone over this line in five out of nine games. I think Tatum this game should play around 40+ minutes if it's close and because it's in Indiana, I believe it should be closer.

This matchup is perfect for anyone. Indiana plays at the fastest pace in the NBA, allows the most points in the paint and have the second worst defensive rating in the league. In the last game against the Pacers this year, Tatum notched 46 PRA playing only 26 minutes as it was a massive 51 point of blowout.

Tatum saw a 30.4 usage rate last game in this same matchup with Porzingis playing too. I think with him out now, there will be an increase in his usage and therefore his field goal attempts and minutes should increase as well.

Recent forwards with similar usage to Tatum against the Pacers; Jimmy Butler 41 and 50 PRA, Jerami Grant 44 PRA, and Pascal Siakam 50 PRA. Overall, I think Tatum sees a good matchup here and the ball stays in his hands and with the Celtics having many offensive threats. I doubt the Pacers will double Tatum during the game. I believe this is a dream line for Tatum and he'll crush it tonight.
