This popular play today is to take Nikola Vucevic against Charlotte. Centers against Charlotte are a historically profitable strategy so I can’t knock it. With that being said, I just trust DeMar DeRozan more. Vucevic is a great talent but seems to have lost a step in his game. The same could be said slightly about DeRozan, but not to the same extent.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction
DeMar absolutely feasts when Zach LaVine sits. In 20 career games that DeRozan has played but LaVine has not, DeRozan averages 32.3 points per game. DeRozan is 18 for 20 on hitting this prop without him and the two misses were 23 and 20. I’m not sure how this bet is being so overlooked today.
DeRozan should want to show out as much as possible to increase the likelihood he gets traded. He has voiced being frustrated this season and the better he plays the more likely a team will be willing to bring him on. Charlotte is about league average against allowing points to small forwards but DeMar should be the undeniable No. 1 option. Let's roll!
