New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics Prediction

The Knicks have had a good start to the season with a record of 12-8 and are hoping to make a playoff run this year.

They have the third-best defense in basketball but sometimes struggle with consistency on offense.

Jalen Brunson leads the Knicks in scoring, averaging 24.9 points per game paired with 5.6 assists.

Julius Randle has delivered a strong season. Randle is coming off his best performance this year, contributing 21.5 points per game and 10.0 rebounds.

Immanuel Quickley has been great off the bench for the Knicks, pouring in 15.0 points per game.

Meanwhile, the Boston Celtics are considered one of the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference with a record of 15-5.

They are the No. 1 seed in the East.

They have been led by Jason Tatum. Tatum, who is one of the best scorers in basketball, has averaged a team-best 276 points per game.

Jaylen Brown inked a massive contract in the off-season, which at the time made him the highest-paid player in basketball. The former California standout has averaged 22.2 points per game.

Jrue Holiday has fit into his role perfectly. Holiday is one of the best defensive players in basketball and offensively has been sharp, ranking second on the team in assists with 5.1 and second on the team in rebounds with 7.2.

The Celtics have won both games against the Knicks this season, but the Knicks have given the Celtics a tough time as of late.

New York won three of the four matchups against the Celtics a season ago.

The Knicks' style of play matches up well with the Celtics.
