The Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns will clash from Footprint Center on Tuesday night for a Western Conference showdown.
These are two teams that feel as if they have a legitimate chance to win the NBA championship.
Golden State has done it multiple times over the last decade, while the Suns are yet to get over the hump.

Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns Prediction
This season has been a bit of a struggle early on for the Warriors.
Golden State begins play with a record of 10-12.
The Warriors have struggled at home this season with a 5-6 record, which is out of the ordinary.
Steph Curry is not to blame. The future Hall of Famer leads the team in scoring with 29.4 points per game and 4.4 assists.
The production after Curry has been the issue.
His splash brother, Klay Thompson, has not been shooting the ball well this season. Thompson has added 15.8 points per game, which is poor for his standards.
Andrew Wiggins, who was great a season ago, has struggled to find his scoring touch, averaging 12.6 points per game, which is down from his 17.1 points per game last year.
Draymond Green has looked a bit slower this year on both sides of the basketball.
Golden State is currently the 11th seed in the Western Conference.
Phoenix will begin play tonight with a 12-10 record.
That is a roster that feels as if they are much better than their record indicates.
The big news out of Phoenix tonight is the return of Bradley Beal.
Beal has played in three games this season, averaging 17.3 points per game in those contests.
As long as superstar Kevin Durant plays tonight, it will be the debut of the Sun's big three. Durant has been terrific this season, pouring in 31.0 points per game. He is listed as questionable for tonight’s game.
Devin Booker has looked strong since returning from injury. Booker ranks second on the team, posting 27.4 points per game and a team-best 8.1 assists.
The Suns are the No. 9 seed in the West.

I expect Durant to suit up tonight and for us to get our first look at the Sun's big three.
This team has championship-level talent, and they match up well with this Warriors team.
Phoenix has too much offensive firepower for Golden State to keep pace.
The Warriors do not look like themselves, and this is not currently a team built to go on the road and beat a championship contender.
