The Bryant Bulldogs have had a crazy week. Their head coach stepped away from the program, and they pulled off an upset as +23.5 underdogs against 10th-ranked FAU. The Bulldogs welcome in the Howard Bison for their first game since that insane upset. Will Bryant lock in for another big victory, or will Howard catch them sleeping after a big win?

Howard vs. Bryant Prediction
This Howard team can score. They put up more than 85 points in each of their first three games this season, and even hung around with Rutgers in the first half of their most recent game. This veteran Howard squad has more size than Bryant, too.
I love this spot for the Bison, who will be facing a team coming off the biggest win in school history. The spread opened up at HOW +5 before getting steamed down to +3.5. With less than 25% of bets and handle backing the Bison on the spread, this reverse line movement is a great sign for Howard backers.
Bryant didn’t beat FAU this weekend, FAU beat themselves. The Owls shot a horrid 26% from the field in that contest; they never stood a chance. I think the public is overreacting to the Bulldogs’ big upset against the Owls, not taking into consideration that they are without their head coach for the rest of the year.
I love the construction of this veteran Howard team. They've got two stud guards averaging more than 15 PPG in Bryce Harris and Marcus Dockery, and 7th-year Ohio State transfer Seth Towns has been holding it down in the paint for the Bison. This team's main pitfall from last year was turnovers, and this older lineup has done a much better job of protecting the basketball this season.
Coach Blakeney has done a great job rebuilding this program in Washington, DC. He took this team to the NCAA Tournament last year, and with plenty of veteran depth returning for their final year of eligibility, I’m willing to bet this smart, veteran Howard team catches the Bulldogs sleeping after the biggest win in program history.
