There are some great college basketball games on Thursday night. There is one west-coast matchup that I cannot stop thinking about. Let me take you to this elite Pac-12 matchup between the Arizona Wildcats and the Utah Utes.

Arizona vs. Utah Prediction
The matchup between Arizona and Utah tonight might look more like a typical NBA game than a college game. There will be plenty of points to go around in this contest, as these are two of the best offenses in the Pac-12. The question is… which team will outshoot the other in Salt Lake City tonight?
I’m willing to bet the Utes end up being the better-shooting team in this contest. They shoot extremely well at home this season, where they have yet to lose. Utah has one of the best home-court advantages in the nation. I have a feeling this game will look a lot like the beginning of the Arizona/Stanford game last weekend, when the Wildcats struggled to defend the three-point line.
The Utes are a top-50 three-point shooting team in the country. They are even better at home where they feel much more comfortable shooting from distance. If Arizona can’t improve their perimeter defense, this one could get ugly real quick. Even Utah’s center, Branden Carlson, shoots better than 34% from deep.
He’s not the only one that can shoot the deep-ball for the Utes. They have tons of shooters, including Gabe Madsen, Deivon Smith and Cole Bajema, all who shoot better than 40% from deep on the season. Like I said, If Arizona hasn’t improved their three-point defense, this one could get ugly for the Wildcats…
Nobody wants to bet on this Utah team against Arizona after seeing the Wildcats look unstoppable offensively in their last two games. The splits look sharp on the spread for Utah, and with less than 15% of the bets currently backing them to win this game, I wouldn’t be surprised if they shock the world and win this game outright. Take the Utes on the spread tonight; I’ll meet you at the cash counter.
