LSU vs. Ole Miss Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will Jayden Daniels, Tigers Run Up the Score?

No. 13 LSU travels to Mississippi to take on No. 20 Ole Miss on Saturday. Will Jayden Daniels and the Tigers run up the score? Jason Radowitz provides his LSU vs. Ole Miss pick.

LSU vs. Ole Miss Prediction, Pick, Odds: Will Jayden Daniels, Tigers Run Up the Score?

The LSU Tigers earned a close win over Arkansas last weekend. Meanwhile, Ole Miss lost to Alabama, 24-10, and struggled offensively throughout the game.

But that Ole Miss offense should excel against LSU on Saturday. However, LSU's offense should also excel.

LSU and Ole Miss are both 3-1 heading into this game. The Tigers have gotten better quarterback play. However, Ole Miss has had the more consistent defense.

With how well LSU's offense has looked and how bad the defense has been, it's expected that we'll get many points in this game.

Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Saturday's game between the LSU Tigers vs. Ole Miss Rebels.

LSU vs. Ole Miss Prediction

The LSU Tigers began SEC play with 75 points scored in their first two games. Led by Jayden Daniels, the Tigers have been super efficient on offense, averaging 530 yards per game.

Daniels has thrown for nearly 1300 yards, with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. Meanwhile, the run game has leveled up with Logan Diggs in the mix. Diggs has 38 carries for 253 yards and didn't even play in the Florida State game earlier this season.

Meanwhile, Malik Nabers has already added 32 catches for 523 yards with five touchdowns. He and Brian Thomas Jr. have been one of the nation's best duos for pass catchers.

Ole Miss has allowed over 350 yards per game on defense. But they've held teams to 226.3 yards in the air. The coverage in the secondary has been good, and the pass rush has been good enough. Even the run game has done well, holding teams to 125.5 yards per game.

But it'll be difficult to stop one of the most elite offenses in the nation, drive after drive. LSU has answers for everything offensively.

On the other hand, the Ole Miss offense has added 470.3 yards per game behind Jaxson Dart. Dart has thrown for seven touchdowns, two interceptions, and nearly 1,100 yards this season.

The offense hasn't figured out its run game as well with Quinshon Judkins, who was one of the best runners in the SEC last season.

That'll remain the case against LSU this weekend. LSU has allowed 191.8 yards per game on the ground. However, the run defense is much better than that. It's just that the Tigers have missed a lot of tackles. That'll need to be fixed, along with a coverage that has looked like Swiss cheese against Florida State and Arkansas.

Ole Miss will likely throw the ball just as well as FSU and Arkansas in this game.

If the Rebels commit to passing the football and the Tigers continue to be efficient on offense, this game should get over the total.

Between the two teams, they've averaged about 1,000 yards of offense.
