Ole Miss vs. Georgia Prediction: Can Jaxon Dart, Ole Miss Keep it Close on Road?

We have one of the best matchups of the season in the SEC this year tomorrow as Kirby Smart and the #2 Georgia Bulldogs host Lane Kiffin and his No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels in a game that will make or break the season for these squads.

Ole Miss vs. Georgia Prediction

If the Rebels can knock off Georgia on the road, their College Football Playoff hopes and dreams may just become a reality as a win would launch them up in the rankings, it's all or nothing time for them. A win for Georgia may solidify the Bulldogs aren't going anywhere and should be the #1 ranked team in the country again, lose and they may be dethroned.

These squads have completely changed since their last meeting when the Rebels beat the Bulldogs 45-14 in Oxford thanks to a spectacular performance by Chad Kelly. That Rebels squad knocked off two teams ranked higher then them that year, the number 10 Texas A&M Aggies and the number 12 Georgia Bulldogs under first year head coach Kirby Smart. Fast forward to 2023 and the Rebels have already beaten Texas A&M this year the question is can they turn back the clock to knock off a Georgia team ranked above them again this year?

I think the Rebels would need to play a perfect game to win and would need to steal a possession or two but as long as they don't hurt themselves, they should be able to keep it within the points regardless. Mezzo played a great game against Georgia again last week and was able to cover and I really believe this Ole Miss team is better. The offense is a legitimate threat against any team they play and the Defense is the best it has ever been in the Lane Kiffin Era. They are playing with house money and are extra fired up after that leak came out yesterday trying to get Lane in trouble, I think the Rebs come out fired up.
