Texas vs. Iowa State Betting Pick: Can the Longhorns Shine Without Jonathon Brooks?
Well we are back with a loaded Saturday slate of games on the gridiron and I am ready to dive into some action I love. To get the day started, I want to go to a late night clash I am loving.
The Texas Longhorns will leave the state of Texas for the first time since the second week of September for a clash with the Iowa State Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. The weather will be cold and the stage is set for a major test for Texas as Iowa State looks to play spoiler at home.

Texas vs. Iowa State Prediction
First of all, yes, this is really the first time Texas will truly be on the road since Alabama. Wyoming, Kansas, Oklahoma, BYU and Kansas State all came to Texas to play while the Longhorns road games since being in Tuscaloosa have been at Baylor, Houston and TCU, keeping them in state the whole time.
Now they travel to Iowa for a game in tough weather that will stress the importance of running the football and they are now without their top running back Jonathon Brooks, one of the best tailbacks in the country.
Iowa State really should be a 7-3 team at worst, they should not have lost to Ohio early in the season and they made a great comeback bid in the Kansas game two weeks ago, they just spotted the Jayhawks too many points early.
The home field advantage will be in effect and with a shot at the Big 12 title game, they know that they still can make this season great. I love the points with the Cyclones.
