Ohio State is ranked No. 2 in the College Football Playoff, while Michigan is ranked No. 3. But the winner of this game will likely be the only team playing in the College Football Playoff, thanks to a weak Big Ten Conference this year. That's, of course, if Ohio State or Michigan defeats Iowa in the Big Ten Championship.

Ohio State vs. Michigan Prediction
Although the Big Ten wasn't impressive this season, Ohio State and Michigan held their own throughout the season.
The team that wins this matchup can play for the Big Ten Championship. If that team wins in the Big Ten Championship, they'll be undefeated and headed into the College Football Playoff.
The other team would be left out, playing a New Year's Six Bowl outside of the College Football Playoff.
With all of the cheating scandals at Michigan, Jim Harbaugh was suspended for three games, including this one. He won't coach the Wolverines on the sidelines for one more game. But so far, that hasn't affected the Wolverines at all.
Michigan defeated Penn State and Maryland on the road without Harbaugh. The defense has allowed just 173.1 yards in the air and 119.4 yards on the ground.
But with that, the Wolverines have allowed just 7.5 points per game. That's not sustainable against teams like Ohio State.
The Buckeyes have allowed only 136.6 yards in the air and 112.4 yards on the ground and have allowed nearly 10 points per game.
Ohio State's defense is comparable to Michigan's. Michigan is a tad better rushing the passer, but neither team really has a consistent offensive line in the passing game.
J.J. McCarthy typically makes the better throw for Michigan. But he's not asked to do much. Ohio State's the team that has earned 279.1 yards passing. The Buckeyes also have the best receiver in college football to throw the ball to.
Meanwhile, Ohio State has also rushed for 138.6 yards per game. While Blake Corum has rushed for 888 yards on 180 carries for Michigan, Ohio State's TreVeyon Henderson has added 794 yards on 118 carries. He's averaged 6.7 yards per rush.
