The LSU Tigers are on a quest for another ten-win season. They'll take on the Texas A&M Aggies, who just fired Jimbo Fisher in the middle of the season despite his over $75 million buyout.
LSU took a step back this year, but the Aggies took an even bigger step backward. After all, the LSU Tigers could finish the year with another ten-win season.
The Aggies can't.
More importantly, LSU QB Jayden Daniels is considered the front-runner to win the Heisman Award. He'll need one more big game to beat out Bo Nix and Michael Penix Jr. for the award.
Will he do enough for LSU to cover?

The LSU Tigers have the best player in college football.
It's Jayden Daniels, who has thrown for 36 touchdowns and has rushed for another 10. He has 46 touchdowns on the season, with over 4,500 total yards and one more regular season game to play.
He's got two terrific receivers in Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas. Thomas has the most touchdowns in the nation at wide receiver, while Nabers leads the league in receiving yards with over 1,400.
The offense has averaged 45.9 points per game, with about 550 yards per game. However, the defense has allowed over 230 yards in the air and another 173.3 yards on the ground per game this season.
The LSU defense is filled with youth and poor play.
Meanwhile, Texas A&M is riding out the rest of the season with Jaylen Henderson. The Tigers won't see former LSU quarterback Max Johnson in Death Valley. But he's helped the Aggies earn 89 points in the last two games.
Granted, those games were against Mississippi State and Abilene Christian. But these are good reps for the sophomore.
He'll still have success against LSU. After all, the Aggies have averaged nearly 35 points per game and have a ton of talent throughout the roster.
It's just that most teams can't stop LSU's offense. The Tigers are on a roll, with 108 points scored in the last eight quarters.
The Tigers will likely score in that 48-point range at home. But the Aggies should at least get into the high 20s against the Tigers' defense.
Therefore, I'll back the Over 66.
