We are back with some MACtion tonight, and I am ready to dive into the two games of the MAC season tonight. These matchups may not be the most exciting ones we have ever seen, but I found some angles I like and I am ready to dive in.
Bowling Green vs. Western Michigan Prediction
Neither of these teams are spectacular, and they both have been quite poor defensively this season. I do not expect them to have that figured out for tonight. Bowling Green has a good offense and Western can move the ball, I think they do it all game. Western is 106th in red zone stops and 122nd in third down stops, which means I think the Falcons can not just move the ball but they should also be able to finish drives. Bowling Green is 132nd in points allowed and the over is 7-4 for both teams this year.
Eastern Michigan vs. Buffalo Prediction
This one is simple for me, Eastern Michigan still has hopes for their season and something to play for, the Bulls do not. Playing at home is always important, and I do expect Buffalo to play hard, but they are 3-8 for a reason and have struggled immensely this year. Eastern Michigan is playing for a bowl game and trying to get to .500 on the season. They are also on a phenomenal run against the spread on conference road games the last couple years, and while I do not always back trends in football, it is a large enough number for me to get behind it at 22-2-1. Eastern Michigan lost by 20 to the Bulls last year, making this a big vengeance spot.
