The RedHawks enter this contest without their starting quarterback, Brett Gabbert.
Sophomore Aveon Smith has led the offense since the Gabbert injury. Smith has thrown for 638 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Additionally, Smith has rushed for 280 yards.
However, Smith has opted out for this matchup, and Miami will be forced to turn to Henry Hesson.
Rashad Amos is the star of this Miami, Ohio State offense. Amos rushed for 895 yards and twelve touchdowns.
Wide receiver Gage Larvadain has been the top option in the passing game, racking up 643 yards and six touchdowns.
The RedHawks have one of the best-scoring defenses in college football, ranking 5th allowing opponents 15.8 ppg.

Freshman running back Kayne Roberts had a breakout season, rushing for 648 yards and seven touchdowns, and will need to step up in this one without Noel.
Kaedin Robinson has been the top option in the passing game. The Junior has hauled in 59 passes worth 787 yards and ten touchdowns.
The App State defense ranks 79th in points allowed per game (28.8).
