The Blue Devils were ranked as high as 16th in the nation before losing to Florida State.

Injuries slowed down the Blue Devils, most notably to starting quarterback Riley Leonard.

The Blue Devils lost four of their final six games.

A lot has happened at Duke in the last couple of weeks.

Riley Leonard hit the transfer portal and committed to Notre Dame.

Former head coach Mike Elko inked a contract with Texas A&M.

There are multiple players from Duke's roster that are in the transfer portal right now.

Grayson Loftis is expected to start at quarterback. The freshman has thrown for 823 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Senior Jordan Waters led the Blue Devils rushing attack, racking up 753 yards and 12 touchdowns. Waters will not play on Saturday as he is in the transfer portal,

Jordan Moore was the top option in the passing game. The Junior led the Blue Devils with 794 yards and eight touchdowns.

Duke will be without their best offensive lineman, Graham Barton, and their best defensive lineman, DeWayne Carter.

Troy comes into this contest, Champions of the Sun Belt Conference.

Troy represents a record of 11-2.

The Trojans last loss came on September 18th against James Madison.

Senior quarterback Gunnar Watson leads this Troy offense. Watson has thrown for 3,339 yards, 27 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Kimani Vidal was one of the best running backs in the nation this season, dashing for 1,582 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Jabre Barber has been the top option in the passing game with 892 yards and five touchdowns.

Linebacker Jayden McDonald led the Trojans in tackles with 75. McDonald will be out for this game as he is in the transfer portal.

Troy vs. Duke Pick

Duke limps into this contest without their starting quarterback, their starting running back, and their head coach.

Additionally, Duke is without their best offensive lineman and six starters on the defensive side of the football.

Troy is an underrated team that has been playing great since mid-September.

Their offensive firepower will be too much for the Blue Devils to keep pace with on Saturday.
