The Trojans enter this game with a record of 7-5.
It was a disappointing season for head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans program.
USC will attempt to salvage a letdown season with a bowl win.
USC lost five of their last six games.
The Trojans will be without their superstar quarterback, Caleb Williams. Williams, who won the Heisman trophy a season ago, is expected to be the first overall pick in the spring.
The absence of Williams will force sophomore Miller Moss into action. Moss has thrown for 309 yards and one touchdown.
Running back MarShawn Lloyd leads the USC backfield. The Junior has stacked up 820 yards and nine touchdowns. Lloyd has opted out of tonight’s game.
Tahj Washington was the top option in the passing game. The senior leads the team with 963 yards.
Brenden Rice, the son of Jerry Rice, led the Trojans with 12 receiving touchdowns. Rice is inactive tonight.
The USC defense was one of the worst in college football this season, ranking 119th in points allowed per game (34.9).
Louisville turned in an impressive season under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm.
Brohm led his alma mater to the ACC Championship game, where they came up short against Florida State.
Veteran Jake Plummer leads the Cardinals offense. Plummer has thrown for 3,063 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Running back Jawhar Jordan was one of the best backs in college football, rushing for 1,128 yards. Jordan will not be active for tonight’s game.
Louisville will also be without their top option in the passing game, Jamari Thrash. Thrash led the squad with 858 yards and six touchdowns.
The Cardinals had one of the best defenses in the ACC.
Louisville ranks 24th in points allowed per game (21.3).
