Arizona vs. Oklahoma Prediction: Can Tetairoa McMillan, Wildcats Dominate Oklahoma in Valero Alamo Bowl?

The Alamo Bowl should once again be one of the more exciting Bowl games of the season. Arizona and Oklahoma’s high-powered offenses are set to face off in San Antonio for what should be a shootout. With the total at 59.5, which offense will end up on top?

Arizona vs. Oklahoma Prediction

Nobody expected Noah Fifita to even be starting this season, let alone leaving the mark he is on this program in only his freshman season. It was supposed to be Jayden de Laura under center for Arizona, but after an injury, Fifita played too well to bench down the stretch. Jayden de Laura has not entered the transfer portal; it’s clear Fifita is the guy for Arizona for the next few years.

There’s something special about Fifita. The gun-slinging freshman has the sixth-best QBR in the country this season, and is looking to close out the year on a high note. The Wildcats are looking for their seventh-straight win in a row on Thursday night. Oklahoma will have their hands full.

Oklahoma won’t have Dillon Gabriel and a handful of starters, but the Sooners are deep and this won’t be a blowout. I do give an edge to Fifita and this red-hot Arizona offense on Thursday night, though. Their former starting QB de Laura is the only offensive player that has entered the portal and will be skipping out on the Alamo Bowl (from what I could find).

Arizona was one of the best offenses in the nation down the stretch. Fifita’s connection with Tetairoa McMillan has been one of the best QB/WR duos this season; expect McMillian to get his on Thursday night. He is coming off a 266-yard performance against Arizona State.

Fade Oklahoma on Thursday night with their backup QB Jackson Arnold slated to make his first college start. Like I’ve said already, Oklahoma will find some success on offense tonight, but Arizona and Fifita will be the team that comes out on top. Back Arizona on the moneyline, and I’ll meet you at the counter.
