Well, it is time. The College Football Playoff National Championship game is tonight. The Washington Huskies will clash with the Michigan Wolverines at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, as each team attempts to be crowned National Champions.

Washington vs. Michigan Prediction
It's a storybook ending at this point. Say want you want about Harbaugh, he has killed it running this program, and brought his team back to the mountaintop. Over the last few seasons they have been tested, learned and gotten better; this is not a one year out of the blue run, this has been brewing for the Wolverines. Washington is exceptional, Michael Penix Jr. is a stud without question, and that wide receiver room is just downright filthy. With that said, I think this Michigan defense can cause them fits. The equation is simple, if the pass rush can get home and disrupt timing, they will cause real problems for Washington. If they don't, this game could turn into a high scoring affair, and that's the type of game I see the Huskies winning.
I think Michigan has the edge on offense too, it comes down to fundamental keys in a successful football team: balance. The Wolverines have an incredibly balanced offense, and that will not waiver tonight. The run game is elite, they can gash you on the ground and they will establish it tonight; JJ McCarthy is exceptional, he can do whatever you need him to do in the air, and is also a threat on the ground. If they play a clean game tonight with the football in their hands, I do not see Washington beating them. Alabama was the big game to win in my eyes, they passed every challenge in that game and should be full throttle tonight.
