Well, with how loaded this field is and the quality of golf the top players in the world are playing right now, I have to pick someone from the top of the board here and I am choosing a theme here: consistency.
I could easily flip to Scottie Scheffler, he has had success here in recent years but I think there is a fire burning inside Rory McIlory this year and he is ready to start showing it.

We all know his main goal: major championship number five. That's it, he wants to put another one is the win column, tie Brooks and get the monkey off his back. To do that though, he has to start building towards his first peak of the season at Augusta and that starts with improvement this week.
McIlroy leads the TOUR and field in total driving by a wide margin which is massive here; longer players simply have a much better opportunity to shave strokes at this course, especially on holes three and six. For long par three's, he ranks third best in strokes gained relative to the field.
The problem? He lost over four strokes to the field last week on the greens, that is virtually it. The man wasn't even putting that poorly, outside of some mis-reads on Saturday he was scaring the hole almost every time he putt the ball. The approach game saw him with his normal left-miss early in the week but he got it together a good bit on the weekend and I am sure it is what he has worked on here.
The T22 was not a great finish but that is only thanks to losing four strokes to the bear trap in two holes on Saturday which took him out of contention. In seven appearances at Bay Hill, McIlroy has no finishes lower than 13th and a victory, including a runner-up finish last year.
