We are back with some late night action on the ice and this should be a great game. The defending Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights are up north for a clash with the Edmonton Oilers. Vegas Golden Knights vs. Edmonton Oilers Prediction
For me, this one is a major momentum spot for both squads. One is gaining it and the other has no wind in its sails. After the electric start to the season for the Knights, they have started sputtering hard. Vegas is 3-7 across their last 10 games, and is coming off of a late night overtime loss in Calgary last night. They have scored just three goals total in their last four games, and should not have a lot of pep in their step tonight.
Edmonton had an abysmal start to the season, but are 4-3 under new head coach Kris Knoblauch and are scoring again. They have scored four goals or more in six of their last eight games, and are coming off of back-to-back impressive victories. They dropped competitive games to Carolina, Florida and Tampa all consecutively, before shutting out Washington in a 5-0 victory, and thrashing Anaheim 8-2 the other night. They are well rested and have home ice, every loss while under .500 just digs them into a deeper hole and they know that. Oilers win tonight.
