Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Nashville Predators Prediction: Can Nikita Kucherov, Lightning Find Offensive Success?

Despite not being able to get an article out last night (sorry y'all), we had a phenomenal night on the ice and I am excited to get back at it with a great slate here this evening. I feel like I am seeing the board really well, and I am ready to attack a couple spots here tonight. To kick off our evening, I want to head to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee as the Predators host the Tampa Bay Lightning. It should be a phenomenal showdown in the Music City between two squads who have been getting things going early.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Nashville Predators Prediction

Nashville is the second best first period over team in the league, cashing the o1.5 in 17/23 games for a 73.91% clip, and have hit in seven of their last 10 games. They have been scoring a good bit themselves lately, so with an advantageous matchup against Tampa Bay's secondary netminder, I think they push hard early.

Tampa Bay is 7-3 across their last 10 games for the GIFT and are 18/25 on the season; they have played excellent games in back-to-back nights out this week after the four game skid and losing tonight to Nashville would feel like a loss of momentum after they just got revenge over Dallas and Pittsburgh. The over has hit in three of the last four meetings between these two teams and Tampa Bay has won every game.
