Philadelphia Flyers vs. Nashville Predators Prediction

The Flyers have been the surprise of the league thus far.

This team was projected to finish toward the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

As we approach Christmas, the Flyers sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division behind the New York Rangers and the New York Islanders.

The Flyers have won four consecutive games and have at least a point in five consecutive games

Philly will look to continue their magical start tonight with a big road.

Travis Konecny has been the star of this Flyers team. The 26-year-old winger has scored a team-best 16 goals while adding seven assists. He is a +12 on the season.

Defenseman Travis Sanheim has been stellar on both ends of the ice. Sanhiem leads the team with 17 assists.

Veteran Sean Couturier has been healthy this season, which is a big boost for the Orange and Black. Couturier has scored six goals paired with 13 assists.

Goalie Carter Hart has been great this year, with a record of 9-6-1 and a GA/G of 2.42, which ranks eighth in the NHL.

Nashville comes into play with a record of 15-13.

The Predators are the No. 7 seed in the West.

Nashville has won four of their last five games.

Filip Forsberg is the star of this Predators team. The Swedish-born winger has scored 14 goals paired with 17 helpers.

Veteran Ryan O'Reilly has been a big boost to this Predators team. O'Reilly has scored twelve goals while dishing out ten assists.

Veteran defenseman Roman Josi remains one of the best two-way defensemen in hockey. Josi ranks third on the team with 22 points.

Goalie Juuse Saros has been stellar, winning twelve games this season, which ranks fifth in the NHL.

Philadelphia Flyers vs. Nashville Predators Pick

The Flyers are due for some regression, and this is an excellent spot to fade them tonight.

Philly is 9-4 on the road, and at some point, they will start dropping road games against better teams.

Nashville is playing their best hockey of the season and has been stellar at home this year with a 9-6 record.

The Predators will do enough to get a win tonight.
