Ottawa Senators vs. Montreal Canadiens Prediction: Can Cole Caufield, Canadiens Keep Pace With Senators?

Guys I am crazy about this momentum right now, we are just rolling. Not forcing anything, playing our plays and reading our reads all the way to the pay window right now and I love it. 2-0 mini sweep on the ice last night and a loaded slate today, let's dive in. The first game we are going to get into takes us to the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec as the Ottawa Senators (17-24-1) and Montreal Canadiens (19-20-7) square off for their second time this week and fourth time this season.

Ottawa Senators vs. Montreal Canadiens Prediction

We cashed in on this matchup last week, and while I wouldn't just blindly bet the same thing for that reason, it would be really hard for me not to pull the trigger here. The over has now hit in six straight contests between the two squads, and they are getting there with contributions from both sides. Last time out, Ottawa carried hard in a 6-2 victory to cash the o6.5; tonight back on home ice, it is Montreal's turn to get some biscuits in the basket. They were the victors of the first two meetings this season by scores of 4-3 and 6-4, but were brought back down to earth in the season series a bit last week.

A key factor in hitting totals is early scoring, and Ottawa is the number one team in the league for total first period scoring. They rank first for 1p o1.5's at 30/42, good for a 71.43% clip. They are 7-3 in the last 10, and are ranked first for the GIFT as well for the exact same split across all three categories.
