Forecast Prices: Impero 9/2, Nadias Boy 15/8, Soir De Garde 3/1, Scalpnagoon 3/1, Wendrock 12/1, William Tell 16/1

oddschecker Verdict

IMPERO has struck gold five times over the smaller obstacles and should benefit from his recent debut over fences. The Cian Collins-trained gelding only weakened in the closing stages into fifth on his chasing bow at Kilbeggan and can take a step forward to strike. Scalpnagoon has gained plenty of experience over fences this year, including when second at Ballinrobe last month, and he is one to take seriously. Soir De Garde won with ease at Tramore in April and is respected on his first outing in this sphere, while Wendrock needs to show a lot more if he wants to get involved.

Prediction: 1st Impero, 2nd Scalpnagoon, 3rd Soir De Garde
