THE LOST KING was in good form this summer, winning a couple of valuable handicaps at York, and he's performed admirably since stepping into Group company. Beaten by the narrowest of margins at Haydock, he subsequently finished second again in the Joel Stakes here behind Talk Of New York and, given the winner's third-placed effort behind Bow Echo and Gstaad in the St James's Palace at Royal Ascot, that's a strong piece of form. Kentucky Downs winner Haatem looks the pick of the two Wathnan-owned horses in the race, and Boiling Point should also go well.
