Norn Iron proved progressive during his novice chase campaign and posted a cracking second in a Listed handicap at the Punchestown Festival. That said, the eight-year-old did appear to improve for the step up to 2m4f, so a drop back in distance on his return to timber dampens enthusiasm. With that in mind, dual Scottish Champion Hurdle third OOH BETTY is the most solid proposition, with this stiffer course expected to suit. Stream Of Stars is a feasible alternative.
