Fairyhouse 17:25 - Top 7 Finish

oddschecker Verdict

Having shown significant improvement when runner-up at Listowel last month, DRUMADEISE can go one place better. Wearing first-time cheekpieces, the Paddy Corkery mare was always prominent before keeping on well once headed. Stepping up an additional two furlongs on a tight track such as this looks ideal for the daughter of Diamond Boy. Provided the headgear has the desired effect once more, she is entitled to be involved. Having run one of his best races to date when fourth at Galway recently, Gypsy Poet is also worthy of consideration. A lightly-raced mare, the Ger Keane-trained Magic Hands Noel shaped with promise when sixth at Navan last time. A daughter of Blue Bresil, she holds place claims at the very least.

Prediction: 1st Drumadeise, 2nd Gypsy Poet, 3rd Magic Hands Noel
