OURSIN is quite interesting on his return from an absence and back on the all-weather. A course scorer this time last year, Charlie Hills' inmate was then put away for the winter and returned in a competitive Newbury handicap in the spring which was won by subsequent John Smith's Cup second Hand Of God. He couldn't land a telling blow that day but it's strong form in the context of this race and Tom Marquand is booked for his reappearance. Wardlaw is a must for the shortlist as he's super consistent and versatile, while Circus Of Rome and Ernst Blofeld aren't without a chance.
