Golden Point failed to run his race before pulling up at Uttoxeter in March but he had won his previous two at Kelso and is not one to write off just yet. Major Fortune travels north as part of a strong Skelton team with a win over further at Haydock last time out but he has 5lb more from the handicapper and the younger CHASINGOUTTHEBLUES is preferred. Mark Walford's gelding was not disgraced when fifth in the Scottish National and looks all set for a rewarding season.
