However, a further 4lb rise demands another career best from the seven-year-old, with ABBEY SCOPE taken to capitalise. Nicky Richards' gelding got the better of a subsequent winner when following up at Hexham and a 7lb higher mark may prove to be lenient. Smugglers Haven and Ernest Gray could also make their presence felt.
