The new NFL season kicks off this Friday with a repeat of last season's Super Bowl.
Carolina Panthers at Denver Broncos – Friday 01:30, Sky Sports 1
The NFL returns to our screens on Thursday night with a replay of last years Super Bowl as the Denver Broncos host the Carolina Panthers.
It’s all change at the Quarterback position in Denver after all time great Peyton Manning retired after winning his second Superbowl ring. Second-year QB Trevor Siemian will be under center and you would imagine this excellent Panthers defense will have a few tricks up their sleeve for the youngster.
The Panthers certainly have the edge at QB with “Super Cam” Newton but the Broncos defense is also stellar and with them almost certainly focusing on running the ball rather than throwing passes, we expect a tight low scoring game at Mile High stadium. The Panthers should have enough to get the win and with a tight game in prospect we like them to win securing the victory by a winning margin of 7-12pts.
With Siemian starting his first ever NFL game nerves are bound to be high so the Carolina defense/special teams to score a touchdown at anytime also appeals at 4.5.
