Norwich v Preston

Norwich have yet to pick a win in their opening first three games and they are looking at a rather bleak campaign if nothing changes. Even their decision to paint the away dressing room pink did them no favours, as West Brom managed to score four past them last week.

Preston managed to take a point from promotion favourites Stoke at the weekend and I believe they can build on that particular result against a Norwich side who haven’t found their rhythm yet. Preston draw no bet at odds against looks a cracking price.

QPR v Bristol City

QPR were humiliated away to West Brom and Steve McClaren will be desperate for his side to show some kind of reaction to conceding seven goals.

Bristol City have failed to pick up a win so far but looking closely at the games they have played, the table looks worse for them than it probably should do. A point against big-spending Nottingham Forest, before a respectable draw away to Bolton is from far a poor start to the season.

A defeat away to Middlesbrough can be overlooked, especially as they are trying to achieve automatic promotion this season. They were unlucky not to get on the scoresheet however, hitting the crossbar twice.

The fact QPR are odds-on is a mystery and another odds-against price in Bristol City looks too good to overlook.

Rotherham v Hull

Both these sides will be looking to keep their heads above water this season and this could be an early six pointer. Since shipping five away to Brentford, Rotherham managed to put in a resilient performance to beat Ipswich at home before showing against Leeds that sides won’t always be able to roll them over.

Rotherham know that they will be relying on their home form if they are to stay in the division, whilst Hull appear to lack any firepower upfront after three games without a victory. Odds of 3-4 for under 2.5 goals is what I am picking in this one.
