Juventus v Pescara – Saturday 19:45, BT Sport Europe
Juventus are four points clear in Serie A thanks to a 2-1 triumph at Chievo, and they’ve now won seven of their last eight. At home they’ve had five successive victories this term, stretching their winning run in Turin to 22 in the league. At the back end of last season Juve kept 11 consecutive clean sheets at home, but this term both teams have scored in five of their six matches. This is very out-of-character for the Old Lady; that being said, Barzaglia has missed most of this season, and continues to be absent, but Chiellini is set to return after a spell on the side-lines.
Even if they’re not at full strength, it is hard to see them conceding to a struggling Pescara side. Pescara’s only three points this season came courtesy of Sassuolo fielding an ineligible player where they actually lost the game. Most recently they were hammered 4-0 by fellow relegation contenders Empoli, who previously had found scoring a near-impossible feat. Furthermore, Pescara have been struggling in front of goal with just three in their last nine games, so a home win to nil looks a given.
Juventus have a huge game in Sevilla on Tuesday night, where they need to win to have a chance of claiming top spot in their Champions League group. Once they get a lead here, Pescara are unlikely to cause them much trouble so it wouldn’t be surprised to see them take their foot off the gas, making a Juve win and under 2.5 goals a tempting bet at 4.1, whilst we’ll also have a small wager on a 2-0 correct score.£10 Free Credit and a £500 Deposit Bonus
