5 minutesNFL First Pick Odds: Who will the Jaguars Select with Number 1 Overall Pick?
The Jacksonville Jaguars finished with a 3-14 record in last year's season, giving them the first overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
This is a familiar place for the Jaguars, who finished in last place in the previous season, allowing them to take Trevor Lawrence from Clemson.
Of course, since the Jaguars selected Lawrence last season, we won't be seeing a quarterback drafted first overall, as long as the Jaguars are selecting. That means there are plenty of different ways that the Jaguars can go about using this pick. The Jaguars need offensive line help, playmaking on the offensive side of the ball, edge rushers, linebackers, and ultimately a whole new defense. So where should the Jaguars start with the first overall pick?

Evan Neal (+150)(Bet $100 to win $150)
You will rarely see an offensive lineman get drafted first overall. But right now Neal has risen up the draft boards and is the favorite to be the first overall pick in the draft.
Again, the Jaguars are in much need of an offensive tackle and Neal fits the bill. Neal is 6-7, 370 pounds with a ton of strength and quickness off the line. He's ultimately got an insane frame and a terrific punch.
Lawrence would be excited with this get, especially with Neal potentially blocking for his blindside.
Aidan Hutchinson (+200) (Bet $100 to win $200)
Aidan Hutchinson is a great story. He had 14 sacks with Michigan, with 36 tackles and two forced fumbles on the season for the Wolverines. The senior defensive end just has it factor and plenty of leadership to go with it.
However, did it concern anyone that he was a non-factor against Georgia in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff? In that game, he had four tackles with no sacks and really didn't have any pressures either.
Against the best offensive line in college football, Hutchinson was blanked, so I'd be wary about him going first overall. Still, he has so much potential and could clearly develop into a star, especially with his work ethic.
Kayvon Thibodeaux (+500) (Bet $100 to win $500)
Thibodeaux is a defensive end who was playing for Oregon. As a sophomore last season, he had 35 tackles and seven sacks along with two forced fumbles. When active, he made a difference, but overall it might take time for him to develop. Thibodeaux just does a really solid job with his pursuit and has speed and athleticism that is unmatched to most prospects in the draft this season. He's likely going to drop a bit but should still be selected in the top 10.
