The report comes a few weeks after the New York Times released another article claiming Donald Trump had not paid income tax in 10 of the last 15 years. It must be noted that both of these reports are just claims against Trump, however, they have both had serious implications on the US election odds market.
Donald Trump's odds dipped to +120 (6/5) following New York Times report on his taxes last month, which at the time implied he had a 45.5% chance of winning the 2020 election. His odds since then have remained pretty constant in the market, and he could have been backed at +150 (6/4) yesterday, which implied Donald Trump had a 40% chance of winning the US election.
However, the current Presidents odds have taken a significant dip following today's allegations.
