Best MLB Strikeout Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Monday

Yesterday, we added another 3-0 day with our strikeout props. Spencer Arrighetti, Zack Wheeler, and Osvaldo Bido all hit their strikeout props by more than one strikeout.

We like to call those bets "sweat-free."

Let's find some more sweat-free bets for tonight's MLB strikeout props.

August 5 Best MLB Strikeout Props

Patrick Corbin Over 4.5 Ks (-118) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

We're betting on one of the worst pitchers in the MLB to add at least five strikeouts.

I have my reasoning.

Corbin has struck out 23.5% of right-handed batters over the last month. He's also held righties to a .115 ISO and has walked just 2.5% of righties with 48.3% of grounders and 13.3% of fly balls allowed.

Tonight, he'll take on a Giants lineup that will likely have seven righties in the lineup. Those seven righties have combined to strike out 40.5% of the time against lefties over the last month.

As a projected lineup, the Giants have struck out against lefties about 40% of the time. With Corbin's strikeout prop at just 4.5, knowing how much the Giants strike out, we're taking this line.

James Paxton Under 3.5 Ks (+124) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

James Paxton has struck out 18.6% of batters over the last 30 days and just 16.8% of batters this season.

He'll face a Royals lineup that has combined to strike out just 13.2% of the time against lefties over the last month. Not a single player in the projected starting lineup has struck out more than 22.2% against lefties.

Plus, the whole lineup, but one, should be right-handed. Paxton has allowed a .214 ISO and wOBA of .378 to his last 66 righties, with 15.2% of walks against them.

We'll take the Under, especially at plus-money.

Aaron Nola Over 5.5 Ks (-146) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

The Dodgers' starting lineup has struck out 26.8% of the time against righties over the last 30 days.

Only Gavin Lux has limited strikeouts to below 24% over the last month in that entire Dodgers order.

With eight targets, Aaron Nola should be able to get to six strikeouts. He's added 25% of strikeouts against lefties over the last 30 days, but he's also earned 26.3% of strikeouts against righties throughout the season.

Although his strikeout rate has not been consistent throughout the season, he is capable of adding a high strikeout rate on both sides of the plate. With eight targets, we'll back Nola to earn at least six strikeouts.
