MLB Prop Cheat Sheet: Targeting Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Brent Rooker on Dinger Tuesday

The Blue Jays travel to Anaheim today to take on the Los Angeles Angels. Tyler Anderson takes the mound for the Angels which is a pitcher that Vladdy has had a ton of success against. He is 6-for-11 with two extra base hits against him and hits his pitch mix (vs. lefties) very well. Anderson allows a ton of fly balls too which is great for betting homers. Vlad has been crushing lefties this season.
Four of his last six batted balls have been hit well - all 4 hit 102+ MPH, 348+ feet, and with great launch angles. He also has played extremely well at Angel Stadium recently as he's homered in each of his last two games and has multi-hit games in five of his last six. As long as he doesn't get walked 2+ times, I think he has a great shot at going yard tonight.

The next player I'm looking at to homer is Brent Rooker. Rooker is in a great matchup tonight against Seattle's starter Emerson Hancock. Hancock has been much more prone to righty power in his career, as he's allowed a 2.4 HR per 9 inning ratio.
Hancock's pitch mix sets up nicely for Rooker as he's throwing primarily his sinker and slider to righties which are two pitches Rooker barrels at a high rate. Rooker has seen Hancock once in his career and homered off of him, and I'm expecting him to do it again here tonight.

The last player I have on my list of home run targets and potentially my favorite is Shea Langeliers. I'm loving Shea tonight for similar reasons as Brent Rooker. Hancock is a great target for righty power, as he's shown throughout his career, and Shea has been crushing baseballs the past few games.
Five of the last six batted balls for Langeliers have been hit over 95 MPH exit velocity, with three of the last four going 324+ feet and with great launch angles. He's clearly seeing the ball well, and also hits the sinker + slider combo very well with high barrel rates against them, just like Rooker.
Langeliers has homered in his last two matchups vs. Seattle and in three of the last five overall. I think we could see multiple homers for the Athletics in that game and hopefully they come from both Rooker and Langeliers!
