5 Minute ReadDodgers vs. Mets Same-Game Parlay: Expect A Big Game from Pete Alonso, Juan Soto on Sunday Night Baseball
The New York Mets will take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rubber match of a three-game series tonight.
The Dodgers stole Game 1 after a 13-inning showdown. However, the Mets stormed back in Game 2 behind the best pitching performance from David Peterson this season.
In the rematch of the NLCS, the Mets are actually favorites to win tonight's game and the rubber match of this three-game series.
Kodai Senga will take the hill for the Mets, while Landon Knack will get the ball for the Dodgers. Senga has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, holding a 1.43 ERA on the season. Knack, on the other hand, has a 6.17 ERA.
Can the Mets finish the series on a positive note?

FanDuel Same Game Parlay - Los Angeles Dodgers vs. New York Mets
Leg 1: Kodai Senga Under 5.5 Ks (-110)
Kodai Senga has only struck out 22.8% of batters this season. He's got a dominant forkball that will fool hitters, but Senga hasn't been consistent enough with high strikeouts this season.
He'll take on a Dodgers projected starting lineup that has hit a .224 ISO and wOBA of .385 with only 18.3% of strikeouts. Only Michael Conforto has struck out more than 22.2% of the time over the last 30 days against righties in the Los Angeles lineup. The Dodgers are a tough out, especially against righties. With Senga's slightly above-average strikeout rate, it'll be hard to tally at least six strikeouts.
Leg 2: Juan Soto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
Juan Soto slugged a two-run double off the wall in yesterday's game. He was a bit unlucky to begin the year but things might change. He's hit a .234 ISO and wOBA of .371 with only 17.3% of strikeouts against right-handed pitching over the last month.
Soto has also hit 68.6% of hard contact and a team-best 25.5% barrel percentage against righties.
Meanwhile, he'll battle Landon Knack of the Dodgers, who has allowed a .253 ISO and wOBA of 386 to his first 98 batters this season. Lefties have hit a .174 ISO and wOBA of .351, with 14.5% of walks. Knack falls behind against lefties way more than righties. That's something Soto can take advantage of. He's typically patient and likes to work counts to be in favorable spots.
Leg 3: Pete Alonso Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)
While Knack has struggled against lefties, he's been way worse against righties regarding power. Knack has allowed a .433 ISO and wOBA of .506 to his last 31 righties. Those 31 righties have hit 28% of fly balls and 60% of hard contact against Knack over the last 30 days.
Knack has added just 6% of swinging strikes against righties in that same time frame and will face one of the most feared righties in the MLB.
Pete Alonso has slugged a .152 ISO and wOBA of .343 and is in one of the most prolonged droughts without a home run in his career. That could easily change tonight. Alonso has popped 74.5% of hard contact and has used a 10.6% barrel percentage against righties over the last month. This is his type of matchup.
