Wednesday MLB Player Props

Kyle Tucker to Record a Walk (-105) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The first player prop I'm looking to target is Kyle Tucker to record a walk. Tucker has walked at an elite rate this season, especially against right-handed pitching as is walk rate is 16.3%. On the season, he is in the 97th percentile in walk rate. He has six walks over his past nine games, and the matchup he gets today could not be much better against Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski.

The youngster walked four batters in his MLB debut, but looked very impressive. Walks are something he has struggled with in the minors as well, clocking a 6.55 Walks per 9 innings ratio to left-handed batters. This is great for hitters like Kyle Tucker and the next hitter I am also targeting for a walk... Ian Happ.

Ian Happ to Record a Walk (+100) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The 2nd player prop I'm targeting is similar to the first. It's another Cubs lefty, Ian Happ, to record a walk. As I touched on prior, the matchup could not be much better with Misiorowski allowing so many walks to lefties and like Kyle Tucker, Happ walks at a very high rate, especially vs right handed pitching.

Happ owns a 12.4% walk rate to righties this season, and has drawn four walks over the past four games. With how good Misiorowski can be, I'd expect Cubs hitters to be patient and make the rookie pound the strike zone.

Manny Machado Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The 3rd and final prop I am liking today is Manny Machado to go over 1.5 hits + runs + rbis. Machado has covered this line in 69% of games this season and in 72% of road games. He's covered in 16 of the last 20 road games, which is just absurd consistency. I love his matchup today against the Dodgers who are very thin in their rotation.

Emmett Sheehan is likely to make his first start of the season and first start since 2023. That year, he ranked in the 10th percentile in barrel% and threw primarily 4-seam fastballs and sliders to right handed batters, which sets up great for Manny. This season against righties, Machado has .341 and .389 expected AVGs against these pitches. He's been great all season and always tends to play well in the intense rivalries between the Dodgers and Padres. I love him to go over his HRRs prop today!
