Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Prediction: Can Jake Paul Continue Knockout Streak on Saturday Night?
Jake Paul is back in action this weekend as he faces off against another ex-MMA fighter in Mike Perry. The two will square off in the main event from Amalie Arena in Tampa on Saturday night.
Jake Paul is one of the most polarizing figures in the sport right now, as he is either loved or hated by fans. After what many thought was mostly a joke of a career when Jake Paul first started boxing has suddenly turned into a very real career for him.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry Prediction
His last win was probably his biggest date, as he knocked out a 17–2 Ryan Bourland back in March. Paul has slowly transitioned into fighting more “real” fighters, as three of his last four opponents have all been young boxers on the rise with good records, much like Jake Paul.
On the other side, Paul’s opponent will be the menacing Mike Perry. Perry is an ex-UFC fighter who spent some years in the sport fighting some top names like Max Griffin, Donald Cerrone, Vicente Luque, and Geoff Neal before getting cut and transitioning to bare knuckle fighting.
Perry has seen a lot of success in BKFC, going 5–0 in the promotion since joining. His last three wins have all been stoppages, as Mike Perry has that killer instinct. However, this will not be a bare-knuckle fight and will be quite the opposite with padded boxing gloves, which is a stark contrast to not only his bare-knuckle fights but also his UFC fights which have gloves with much less padding.
Jake Paul has been training extensively and has actually started to look like a much better boxer over the last few years. One advantage he has over Perry in this fight is that he has been boxing this whole time training since 2020, while Mike Perry has been in MMA, then BKFC, Which is still technically boxing, but is very different in terms of rules and skill sets with bare knuckles.
Another advantage that Paul has is his stature. This fight will be at cruiserweight, which is Jake Paul’s preferred weight limit of 200 pounds, while it is much above Perry's. Perry was a welterweight fighter in the UFC, which is only 170 pounds. Perry is 5' 10", while Jake Paul is 6' 1". Paul will also have a 5-inch reach Advantage as the bigger man. This means Perry will have to try and get inside Paul’s range and may have to overextend on some of his strikes to try and get within range, while Paul will be much more comfortable at a longer range and can touch up Perry often over the eight rounds.
My official prediction is that Perry will come out strong in the first few rounds, but will be frustrated by Paul's height and reach advantage and will end up getting touched up over the next few rounds. By round 5–6, Paul will start to gain some momentum and frustrate Perry further, catching Perry on an entry with a nasty hook. I think Paul will get a late stoppage here and continue his winning streak.
