This could help him grapple and keep Topuria away from showing off his explosive power. Topuria is a better overall striker. He'll likely be more precise and quicker with his exchanges. Since Oliveria's stand is unorthodox, he could leave himself open during exchanges. Of course, Topuria will want to keep this fight standing. Oliveria is one of the best submission artists in the game and will capitalize on an opportunity. Topuria rarely looks for the takedown and likely won't try much of that in this fight. If he does, he'll have to know that he can secure the top and dominate in the ground and pound. Ultimately, Oliveria has a solid chin.
