Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
Dak Prescott deserves more respect, and he’s going to get it after he carves up this weak Detroit secondary on Saturday night. Dak and the ‘Boys have been nearly unstoppable at home this season, and that trend isn’t going to end against the Lions coming off their first NFC North title in 30 years.
This is a perfect spot to fade the Lions. They just did the impossible; they won the NFC North, and no longer have to worry about making the playoffs. We’ve seen teams in spots like this fall short after a division-clinching win more often than not, and Dallas is coming off a brutal loss in a game they should have won. I love this spot for both of these teams.
Detroit’s front-seven is serviceable, but Dallas’ offensive line is good enough to hold Hutchinson off. This Lions’ secondary has been getting cooked by guys like Nick Mullins and Russell Wilson, who both just got benched. Just imagine what CeeDee Lamb and the ‘Boys are going to do against Detroit at home on Saturday night...
Less than half the bets are currently backing the Cowboys on the spread, but the spread has slowly moved two points towards Dallas this week. It’s not surprising to see the Lions as a public dog after their big win last week against the Vikings, but this has presented a great opportunity to fade the public and back the Cowboys to stay perfect at home. As much as I hate to say it, it’s Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ year; they are going to tear up this pourous Lions’ secondary.
