NFL Draft Parlay Picks: Targeting Abdul Carter, Ashton Jeanty in Top 5 Draft Pick Parlay

The 2025 NFL Draft is only one day away but it still feels like we have no idea what's going to happen in Round 1. QB Cam Ward is the consensus No. 1 overall draft pick at -20000 to become the Tennessee Titans' latest attempt at securing a franchise quarterback.

WR-CB-ATH Travis Hunter, who won the 2024 Heisman Trophy, is -1200 to be selected at No. 2 by the Cleveland Browns. Then, the fun begins at No. 3 with the New York Giants, which is where we'll start building our NFL Draft Parlay using the latest FanDuel odds.

NFL handicapper Matt MacKay has constructed a three-leg NFL Draft Parlay ahead of Round 1 starting at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 24th from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Make sure to follow Matt's X account for more NFL Draft insight and free picks throughout the entire 2025 NFL Draft.

2025 NFL Draft Parlay Picks

LEG 1: ABDUL CARTER (DE) To be Third Pick (-650)

The New York Giants were long expected to draft Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders with the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now, oddsmakers expect Penn State DE-OLB Abdul Carter to be taken by the Giants at this spot.

Carter would be another premium add to a stout New York defensive line. The Giants already have NT Dexter Lawrence, ROLB Kayvon Thibodeaux and LOLB Brian Burns. Carter's top-tier burst and speed make him a strong addition to an already loaded Giants defensive front.

Signing QB Russell Wilson and QB Jameis Winston during the offseason shows the direction the Giants' front office is taking with its offense. Building a stout defensive line is an old school, blue-collar way to stay competitive and win games.

Let's lock in Penn State DE-OLB, Abdul Carter, to be the third draft pick at -650 odds for the first leg of our NFL Draft Parlay.

LEG 2: WILL CAMPBELL (OT) To be Fourth Pick (-390)

The New England Patriots are currently in the No. 4 spot in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Patriots have their franchise quarterback, Drake Maye, while also bringing in new head coach Mike Vrabel this offseason. Expect New England to look to the top offensive tackles in this draft class, which will likely wind up being LSU OT Will Campbell

Campbell is 6-6, 319 pounds with 9-inch hands. The knock on his short arms was put to rest during a re-measure at 33 inches during his Pro Day workout.

Grinding his teeth against SEC defensive ends and linebackers, Campbell's strength and athleticism allow him to be a great run-blocker and quality asset in pass protection. Maye needs all of the help he can get to make his reads in the pocket and it feels like Campbell is a perfect fit to help fill the gap within the Patriots' porous offensive line.

Let's insert Will Campbell to be the fourth overall draft pick to the New England Patriots at -390 odds for the second leg of our 2025 NFL Draft Parlay Builder.

LEG 3: ASHTON JEANTY (RB) to be Fifth Pick (-135)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are drafting fifth overall during Round 1 on Thursday night. A new head coach and GM makes this pick a fun but difficult spot to make a prediction.

Liam Coen was Tampa Bay's OC and leaned heavily on the rushing attack, which cycled between rookie RB Bucky Irving and third-year RB Rachaad White. Irving quickly became Coen's RB1 and it feels like the same outcome could happen if the Jaguars draft Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty tomorrow night.

Jeanty was a Heisman Trophy finalist and ran all over Mountain West defenses during his dominant 2024 campaign with the Broncos. Measuring 5-8, 211 pounds, Jeanty runs with plenty of power and burst.

Jacksonville's current RB depth with Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby likely isn't enough to satisfy Coen heading into 2025. Yes, Michigan DT Mason Graham will likely be available at No. 5, but the Jaguars need to boost the weapons around franchise QB Trevor Lawrence.

There's no better way to take pressure off of Lawrence than by drafting a physical and versatile running back who just recorded 2,600 rushing yards, 29 touchdowns, while averaging 7.0 YPC and 185.8 yards per game. With the NFL beginning to value running backs more, Jeanty going to Jacksonville makes a lot of sense, which is why he's now the favorite at -135 odds.

Let's get our NFL Draft Parlay into plus odds by adding RB Ashton Jeanty to be the fifth pick during the 2025 NFL Draft.

NFL DRAFT PARLAY BUILDER

I attacked this NFL Draft Parlay builder by backing the three favorites from No. 3 through No. 5. This means we're dealing with the Giants, Patriots and Jaguars.

We're adding DE Abdul Carter to be drafted third by the New York Giants at a juicy -650 line. He'll help New York evolve into a top-tier defensive front.

Next, OT Will Campbell drafted fourth by the New England Patriots at -390 odds. Drake Maye needs more protection to develop into a franchise quarterback and Campbell fits the bill based on his size, experience, and skillset.

Finally, with hype growing around RB Ashton Jeanty, we'll close out this NFL Draft Parlay with Jeanty being drafted fifth overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars at -135 odds. DT Mason Graham is a close second option at +185 odds but new head coach Liam Coen's run-centric offensive scheme ran in Tampa Bay will likely bleed over into how he builds and calls the Jaguars' offense in 2025.
