The drop back to this trip proved to be the right move for Appier when making a successful debut for the Tony Carroll team on soft ground at Goodwood, although more will be required after going up 6lb. With that in mind, PERSONAL BEST may well be the answer. She was just touched off over C&D last month and wouldn't need to improve much to go one better. Mister Daydream and Laravie head the remainder.
