Although there didn't appear to be any excuses when Ghost Mode was unable to record a double at Goodwood recently, a reproduction of that fifth-placed effort should see him in the mix. Regardless, fellow three-year-old THUNDER CALL has been progressing nicely over 6f this season and his finishing effort the last twice, including when runner-up here at the Shergar Cup, suggests that a return to 7f will unlock the necessary improvement for him to secure a third career victory. Newbury winner Addison Grey is the pick of the older brigade.
