Clonmel 17:17 - Top 4 Finish

oddschecker Verdict

Recent Down Royal runner-up TECHNOLOGY can belatedly register a first career win. Staying on well to take minor honours on that occasion, the form received a boost when the third horse won at Listowel subsequently. Young Tralee jockey Ross Sugrue has made a bright start to his professional career and his claim should prove great value. Private Policy won at Punchestown in May before finishing fifth off his revised mark at Sligo next time. A confirmed stayer, the Nigel Slevin-trained eight-year-old looks a leading contender. Paul Collins, who hinted at a return to form when seventh at Galway last month, should also be capable of making his presence felt.

Prediction: 1st Technology, 2nd Private Policy, 3rd Paul Collins
