C&D winner APACHE OUTLAW should take the beating now dropping into claiming company. Arguably at his best over this trip, the Ado McGuinness-trained gelding has been running respectably in better races all season. Well treated at these weights, the son of Churchill looks to have been found an ideal opportunity. His stablemate Go Athletico has yet to win on the all-weather, but has had very few tries on it. Placed once from three starts on an artificial surface, the eight-year-old certainly deserves respect in this grade. The Johnny Murtagh-trained Saint Acclaim has already proven his ability to act at this circuit and is open to improvement.
