Runner-up at Gowran Park on his penultimate start, the five-year-old has been approaching peak form ahead of the winter series. Storm Eric usually runs to form around here and despite a rare below-par effort on his most recent visit, the Jamie Flynn-trained gelding has to be a contender. Lightly-raced Cork winner Starflow could be open to further improvement for the Henry de Bromhead yard.
